The Tasting Area of 2021PLPEX

For the first time at 2021PLPEX, a “Tasting Area” was set up to provide a more intuitive brand experience, with sessions on wines and coffee from Portuguese-speaking countries and a session for restaurant chains. The tasting list features 27 wines provided by exhibitors, from which buyers can select 5 wines for tasting and move to the interested exhibitors’ booths.

The session on wines from Portuguese-speaking countries was arranged by the lecturer of Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, with the assistance of a group of catering students, to introduce wines to the visiting buyers.

Buyers were led by the professional sommelier to experience the wines of Portuguese-speaking countries in an immersive way.
